Accompanying Guests' Tours

We invite accompanying guests to sample some of the beautiful countryside and history that central Scotland has to offer by participating in our suggested tour programme. Bookings are no longer being taken.

  Loch Lomomd

LOCH LOMOND & THE TROSSACHS
(Monday 4 August 2008, 09:00-17:30).

Heading westwards the first stop is on the ‘bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond’ with time for some shopping or perhaps a ramble along the shore. Time for lunch in Aberfoyle is followed by a drive through the Trossachs, a scenic area of lochs and glens once the haunt of ‘Rob Roy McGregor’. On the return journey a stop at Stirling Castle provides breathtaking views of the Forth valley across to the Wallace Monument – the tribute to the man immortalised in the movie ‘Braveheart’. A relaxing drive home passes Linlithgow Palace, the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots.

Cost per ticket: £48
