Tourism in Scotland

Scotland is renowned for its historic landscape, scenic beauty, hospitality and arts festivals so why not extend your stay when you come to the Congress and experience it for yourself.
  Visit Scotland

For accommodation, travel and tourism options across Scotland IPS 2008 recommends that you visit the Visit Scotland website. This site provides a comprehensive guide to tourism and travel in Scotland.

If you are accompanied by your family and they are registered as Accompanying Guests they might like to take advantage of being able to book trips on the Accompanying Person's Tour Options. If not, or you are travelling alone then there are many other options.

Rabbie's Trail Burners     Haggis Adventures

If you would like someone else to organise everything and you want to get together with a group of friends or colleagues and take a tour, Scottish Thistle Award 2007 winners (Sustainable Tourism) Rabbie's Trail Burners offers small (max. 16 persons) tours. You can also simply sign up for one of the tours and make friends!

For the younger primatologist and those on a tighter budget we recommend you try another Scottish Thistle Award winner:
Haggis Adventures.
