Accommodation Booking Service

IPS 2008 provides a convenient and free way to book your accommodation for the Congress. The main accommodation options comprise a range of hotels to suit different budgets, university rooms and apartments. This service is not only convenient but also provides preferential cancellation terms compared to those you would receive if you booked directly with any hotel. You can view basic details here before booking your accommodation during the congress registration process. Other lower-budget options exist. At the bottom of this page is a map showing the approximate location of the accommodation featured below in relation to the Congress venue (EICC). A more detailed street plan of Edinburgh is also available on the Travel page.

The University of Edinburgh Campus is home to a number of different room types, including standard rooms with shared facilities, single or double en-suite rooms.
Proximity to EICC: A frequent bus service runs from near the halls to close to the EICC.
Single ensuite: £43.20 per night, Double ensuite: £67.20 per night (all rates include breakfast).

University Flats  
10 University Apartments Warrender Park Crescent. [MAP]
Close to the city's main visitor attractions, these apartments offer flexible accommodation in Edinburgh at a great price. They sleep between three and five people and feature single bedrooms, a kitchen/lounge/dining area with shower room and separate toilet. Please note that flats can only be let for a 7 night basis from Saturday to Saturday (02/08/2008  - 09/08/2008). Limited parking is available at an extra charge at most of the properties (pre-booking is essential).
